Aromatherapy Recipes using Essential oils for calming and relaxing

We all come under stress. It might be physical, emotional, mental, or a million other things. It’s how we deal with that stress that matters.

But everyone likes to have some peace and quiet. When we think of essential oils that produce calming affects we think of Lavender, but there are many other oils that will provide chemical changes and promoted calming feelings.

Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage, Helichrysum, Lemon, Mandarin, Marjoram, Neroli, Ylang Ylang , Vetiver, Rose, Spikenard and Frankincense.

Creating a blend using up to 5 of these oils will help you feel calm and peaceful.

If you haven’t tried making your own scented lotions and potions yet, you’re in for a treat!

FOOT BATH REJUVENATING

Myrtle – 4 drops
Spearmint – 4 drops
Grapefruit – 4 drops
Cajuput – 3 drops
15 ml of a carrier oil

Blend together and add 7-9 drops in foot bath, swirl water to disperse the oils, insert feet and relax for 15 minutes.

Calming Perfume

Roman Chamomile – 3 drops

Ylang Ylang – 3 drops

Jasmine – 1 drop

Rose – 1 drops

Jojoba – 4 ml

Mix all together. Can be worn as a personal fragrance perfume or just enjoy – inhaling it from the bottle or omit the Jojoba and use this blend in a Personal inhaler type diffuser.

FOR your Massage after a hectic and crazy day!

6 drops Anise

15 drops Rose 5% in Jojoba

6 drops Nutmeg

60 ml of carrier oil
